Frontica is one of the world's largest staffing companies in the oil and gas sector

The renowned agency, Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA), has announced the largest staffing companies in the oil and gas sector. Frontica Advantage is the fourth largest company and the only Norwegian company on the list. The Top Ten list includes 70 percent of the staffing market in the oil and gas sector globally.

A solid fourth place

"This award confirms our position in the market as a major international provider of staffing services to the oil and gas sector. Gaining a strong position in this market is challenging, however with our extensive experience and our global presence we are well place to meet the needs of our customers all over the world," stated Jens Mellbye, Head of Frontica Advantage. 

The ten largest companies on this list had a total turnover of 40 billion Kroner (NOK) generated from the oil and gas sector. Frontica Advantage had revenues of nearly 4 billion in 2014, giving the company a solid fourth place on the international list. SIA believes that the overall market for staffing in the oil and gas sector was 55 billion in 2014.

Frontica Advantage an attractive company for other sectors

"Overall I would say that we are operating in a very challenging market. Oil prices have fallen 60 percent since July 2014, and the market is preparing for that price to remain low for a while. But the overall market for Frontica Advantage is growing and we see that our staffing services and consultants are attractive within other sectors. According to SIA will market for staffing services in general will grow as much as 20 percent over the next two years,” concluded Mellbye.
