Meet our new Managing Director

Frontica Engineering is proud to announce the appointment of Eivind Nordal to the role of managing director with effect from July 1, 2020.  Eivind has more than 20 years of extensive multi-discipline technical and operational experience from the offshore and maritime industry.

Eirik Bergsvik, CEO of MHWirth AS and Chairman of the Board of Frontica Engineering, says; “We are happy to have Eivind onboard and are confident he can do a great job leading Frontica Engineering into the future. His strong versatile experience both from engineering and operation in the offshore and maritime industry combined with his managerial skills and abilities within business development will be key to further develop Frontica Engineering’s standing as a strong player within the offshore engineering market. The Board is looking very much forward to working with Eivind through the interesting time ahead.”

Eivind Nordal

Eivind Nordal has more than 20 years of extensive multi-discipline technical and operational experience from the offshore and maritime industry. He is a naval architect graduated from Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1995. He has worked in engineering company Aker Kværner Engineering Technology AS (former Maritime Tentech AS), a supplier of oilfield services and equipment to the oil and gas industry from 1996 to 2006. Further, he entered into OSM Offshore in 2006, a ship and offshore asset management company, and held various positions in OSM to 2015 including managerial positions as COO and CEO. From 2015 to 2020 he has been co-founder and Director Business Management in Windpartner AS, a service provider to the offshore wind industry through ownership and operation of state-of-the art SES Daugther Crafts and CTVs. Mr. Nordal holds a M.Sc. in Marine Technology from Norwegian Institute of Technology in Trondheim, Norway. Mr. Nordal is a Norwegian citizen.

Frontica Engineering AS is a Norwegian company based in Kristiansand, Norway. The company is a 100% owned subsidiary of MHWirth AS and has 75 highly skilled engineers.
